We're in the final weekend of regular season baseball and what a series we have here. Detroit and Cleveland are essentially tied for the AL Central lead, but the Guardians have the tie breaker. The Tigers are now hanging on to a 1 game lead on the Astros for the Final Wild Card Spot. As for Boston, they only have a 1 game lead on Detroit in the Wild Card race so anything is possible and every win counts. Detroit will send RHP Casey Mize (14-6, 3.91 ERA) to take on Boston's Kyle Harrison (1-1, 3.58 ERA) in the opening game of this series. Reds (81-78) at Brewers (96-63)

Milwaukee has already clinched their division they'll have a bye in the wild card round, they could just take it easy this series and give the Reds a chance to make the playoffs. If they weren't divisional rivals maybe they would, but with the Brewers holding a 7-3 season series lead over the Reds, and the fact that the Brewers are 1 win away from their best single season record ever, we don't see that happening. They'll send Quinn Priester (13-2, 3.25 ERA) to the mound to take on Zack Littell (10-8, 3.86 ERA) in game 1 of this series. According to ESPN, the Reds still have a 19.9% chance of making the playoffs, but a loss today could all but eliminate them. Diamondbacks (80-79) at Padres (87-72)

First the Dodgers, now the Padres, the Diamondbacks just can't catch a break. After dropping 2 in a row Arizona still technically has a chance to make the playoffs, but would need the Mets and the Reds to lose all their remaining games and the Diamondbacks would need to win all of theirs. They'll send Zac Gallen (13-14, 4.70 ERA) to the mound today to try to get it done against Yu Darvish (4-5, 5.51 ERA) and the Padres.
