NFL Week 12 Expert Picks

After a wild Week 11 full of dramatic finishes and surprising upsets, we’re back with our NFL Expert Picks. The BetQL NFL team have run the numbers and read through all the scouting reports and are ready to share their predictions on the biggest matches of the NFL Week 12.  

Minnesota Vikings (4-6) at Green Bay Packers (6-3-1)

NFC North rivals face off for the first time this season as the Vikings head to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. This certainly isn't the season most were expecting for Minnesota. They've lost four of their last five and are sitting at the bottom of the division. Issues at QB have plagued the Vikings for a while now, and rookie JJ McCarthy has been struggling since taking over for Carson Wentz. The Vikings are 23rd in passing and 25th in rushing, while allowing 23.2 points per game on average. As for the Packers, after losing two in a row, they picked up a much needed 27-20 win over a battered Giants team last week. QB Jordan Love has the 5th best QBR (69.7) this season and his 2,421 passing yards have him tied for 10th most this season. Green Bay is starting their toughest stretch of the season as they have 4 in division games as well as a road game against the Broncos.

Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) at Dallas Cowboys (4-5-1)

NFC East rivals clash for the second time this season as the Eagles take on the Cowboys. Dallas will be looking for revenge after losing in week 1 and are coming off a 33-16 win over the Raiders last week. Dallas are #1 in passing yards per game and 2nd in points scored, but they're 31st in points allowed per game this season. Despite being at home, they opened as 4 point underdogs. The Eagles on the other hand, have won four in a row including sweeping the NFC North. Jalen Hurt might be leading a not so great passing offense, but this defense has kept them in many games they could have easily lost this season.

Indianapolis Colts (8-2) at Kansas City Chiefs (5-5)

This is not the season Chiefs fans expected. Kansas City has been so dominant for the past few years, that to see them in 3rd place in the AFC West has to be a shock. Back to back losses have the Chiefs playoff hopes looking less and less likely this season. If you just look at the numbers, this would come as a shock. K.C. is top 10 in passing and scoring while being 4th in points allowed per game. The Chiefs either blow their opponents out or lose close games, that's been the story this season. As for the Colts, they're coming off an OT win against the Falcons, and have been an offensive super power this season. They're 3rd in passing and rushing and 1st in scoring. Add to that the fact that they're 9th in points allowed, and it's easy to see why they're tied for the best record in the NFL so far this season.
