Cardinals Money Line (-110, ESPNBET)
What we've got here is most likely the battle for second place in the NFC West this season. The 49ers have proven that they're going to be the team to beat in the division as they've already taken down that Cardinals and Seahawks in the first three weeks. Looking purely at the numbers, this game really is a coin flip both Kyler Murray and Sam Darnold aren't off to the starts either would have hoped for. Darnold's 60.1 QBR is better than Murray's 57.0, but both QBs are in the bottom half of the league in QBR and passing yards. The Cardinals are 13th in the NFL in rushing, but they just lost RB James Conner who was 2nd on the team in rushing to a season ending injury. Both defenses are in the top-10 in points allowed, but with this blow to Arizona's rushing game their passing will have to improved, they currently rank 28th in passing yards.
As for the Seahwaks, they're riding high after a 44-13 blowout of the Saints and a big win over the Steelers in week 2. With no major injuries to report, they look like they've come back strong after suffering their week 1 loss to San Francisco. They'll need their offense to shine in Glendale as the Cardinals have been able to keep their opponents from scoring consistently so far this season. If the Seahawks special teams can also perform like they did agains tNew Orleans, this one could get very interesting.
The BetQL computer model has the Cardinals winning in 52% of its simulations scoring an average of 22 points against the Seahawks 21.5.
Sam Darnold 210+ Passing Yards (-146, DraftKings)
Arizona has not been able to stop anyone from passing this season, but I'm still going to be conservative with this one. Darnold is averaging just over 220 passing yards per game, and DraftKings will let you set that as your line if you want. For my money I'm taking the less risky wager and saying he has an average game.
Sam Darnold 15+ Rushing Yards (+220 DraftKings)
This one is just fun and a good chance to triple your money. Darnold is not a rusher, even last year in Minnesota where he ran the ball a career high 67 times, he only average 12 yards a game. He did scramble twice against the 49ers in week 1, but this is a real long shot that could payoff big.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime TD (+150 DraftKings)
I'm taking this one for a couple of reasons. Firstly, Jaxon leads Seahawks in receiving yards. Secondly, the Cardinals aren't great at defending the pass. Finally, Smith-Njigba is having his best season ever, but his TDs aren't keeping pace with all his other stats. Conclusion, he's due for a TD on Thursday.
Kyler Murray Under 209.5 Passing Yards (-114, FanDuel)
Not sure who set this line, but I'm taking the under for sure. Murray is only averaging 180 passing yards per game. Aside from Brock Purdy in week 1, no one has torched the Seahawks for more than 218 passing yards, so why would Murray suddenly throw for 30 yards more than normal?
Trey Benson Any Time TD (+100, FanDuel)
Benson leads the Cardinals in rushing but is still looking for his first TD of the season. He's shown he can break for big plays, but I see him getting his second career TD on Thursday on a short yardage run.

Understand the odds: Familiarize yourself with how NFL betting odds work. Odds indicate the probability of a specific outcome, and they also determine the potential payout. Learn about different types of bets, such as point spreads, moneylines, and over/unders, and consider which type of bet aligns with your betting strategy.
Set a budget: It's crucial to establish a budget for your Thursday Night Football betting activities and stick to it. Only wager what you can afford to lose, and avoid chasing losses by increasing your bets. Responsible bankroll management is key to maintaining a sustainable and enjoyable betting experience.
Shop for the best odds: Different sportsbooks may offer slightly different Thursday Night Football odds for the same game. Take the time to compare odds from multiple bookmakers to ensure you're getting the best value for your bets. When it comes to betting on Thursday night NFL games, here are some strategies you can consider:
Research the teams: Analyze the teams' recent performance, including their records, statistics, and key player injuries. Look at their offensive and defensive capabilities, as well as their past performance in prime-time games.
Consider short weeks: Thursday night games usually occur after a shorter week of preparation, which can impact team performance. Take into account how teams have historically fared in these situations, as some may struggle to perform at their usual level due to less rest and recovery time.
Home-field advantage: Assess the impact of home-field advantage on the teams playing. Some teams tend to perform better at home, so consider this factor when making your predictions.
Weather conditions: Keep an eye on the weather forecast for the game. Extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, can significantly affect the outcome and scoring potential. Adjust your betting strategy accordingly.
Line movements and public betting: Pay attention to line movements and public betting trends. These can provide valuable insights into how the majority of bettors are leaning and whether there might be value in taking the contrarian approach.
Prop bets and alternative markets: Look beyond the traditional spread and over/under bets. Prop bets, player performance bets, and alternative markets can offer interesting opportunities, especially if you have in-depth knowledge about specific players or matchups.
Manage your bankroll: Set a budget for your wagers and avoid chasing losses. It's important to bet responsibly and not wager more than you can afford to lose. Develop a staking plan and stick to it, adjusting your bet sizes based on your confidence in each pick.
Remember, betting on sports is inherently risky, and there are no guaranteed strategies for success. These tips are meant to provide a framework for making informed decisions, but ultimately, outcomes can be unpredictable. Exercise caution and always gamble responsibly.
