Scheffler just won his second green jacket at the Masters and is the undisputed No. 1 golfer on both the OWGR (Official World Golf Rankings) and the FedExCup standings. He's already racked up three wins this season, and has finished inside the top 10 in eight of the nine total events he has played in 2024. He's finished in the top 25 all nine times. Honestly, the biggest threat here might be his wife going into labor. He's already stated that no matter what he is doing when she does, he is going to leave to be with her. So there is the threat that he drops out of this tournament early.

Rory McIlroy Top-5 Finish (+260, DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our model is giving McIlroy +117 odds to finish in the top five at this tournament, making his +260 odds at DraftKings a four-star value. He came up short once again at the Masters, and he seemingly chokes every time that he plays that event. He needs it to complete the major grand slam, and the pressure always seems to be too much for Rory. He's still one of the best golfers on the planet, ranking second in the OWGR, and now maybe he'll get back into form that he has failed again to win a green jacket. He hasn't won an event yet in 2024 and has one top-10 finish in seven events played. He has finished in the top 25 in six of his seven events, but he needs a bounce-back performance here.

Patrick Cantlay Top-10 Finish (+165, DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our model is giving Cantlay -140 odds to finish in the top 10, making his +165 odds at DraftKings a four-star value. He had a very quiet Masters tournament, finishing tied for 22nd with a score of 4-over, and he never really was in contention to win the entire time. He's ranked eighth on the OWGR right now, so he is still considered one of the best golfers in the world. He still hasn't won this season in eight events played, but he does have a top-10 finish and has finished in the top 25 four times.

Tony Finau Top-20 Finish (+140, FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our model is giving Finau -237 odds to finish in the top 20 at this tournament, making his +140 odds at FanDuel a four-star value. He had a terrible Masters tournament, finishing 55th with a score of 13-over par. The veteran golfer is ranked 26th on the OWGR right now. He finished runner-up at the Houston Open a few weeks ago, but couldn't maintain his form for the major tournament. He also has two top-10 finishes this season and has finished inside the top 25 in five of his 10 events.

Jason Day Top-40 Finish (TBD) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our model is giving Day -294 odds to finish in the top 40 at this tournament. He's ranked 21st on the OWGR, and the veteran golfer has been trying to revive his career in its later stages. He has three top-10 finishes this season already and has finished inside the top 25 three times in his nine events played.
