My Best Bet: Over 48.5

Handicapping international games is a tough task, but I want to target the over in this matchup. Keep in mind that São Paulo, Brazil has an elevation of 2,500 feet, which would rank second among all NFL stadiums. With star-studded offenses on both teams, I could see defenses having some issues with conditioning and stamina.

I think we’re going to see Jordan Love break out this season and you can make the claim that they should have beaten the 49ers to advance to the NFC Championship last year. Under Matt LaFleur, Green Bay has gone 13-4 ATS in September and 22-10 ATS as an underdog overall, so there are a couple of trends that back the Packers to cover, which is something to note. With Josh Jacobs now at running back and the young trio of Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed at wideout, I expect a ton from this Green Bay offense this season.

After starting last year 10-1, the Eagles went just 1-5 down the stretch of the regular season and ended up getting whacked by the Buccaneers 32-9 in the Wild Card Round. One has to wonder if there will be a hangover, but it’s really difficult not to like the core of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert behind perhaps the best offensive line in football.

I expect there to be a lot of points scored in this Friday night battle.
